General Conduct of 2016 UTME
— The 2016 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) was conducted EXCLUSIVELY on a Computer-Based Testing (CBT) mode from Saturday, 27th February to Wednesday, 23rd March, 2016
— The examination was conducted throughout the Federation and eight Foreign Centres viz:
1. Benin Republic,
3. Cote D’ Ivoire,
6. Saudi Arabia,
7. South Africa, a

Statistical Report on 2016 Admissions
By first choice Preference, here is what it looks like;
1,557,017 candidates went for degree programmes – that’s 98% of all candidates.
17,673 candidates preferred NCE – that’s 1.1%.
The number ND applicants were 17,584.
Performance Statistics for Jamb 2016
565,479 candidates(10.46%) scored 200 and above.
821,095 candidates (25.56%) scored 190 and above.
1,053,979 candidates(45.16%) scored 180 and above.
117,290 candidates(2.17%) scored below 160.
nb: If 190 is minimum score, JAMB still can FILL the carrying capacity of ALL tertiary institutions in Nigeria – 695,449.
